Geralyn Vaval, M.S, CPPS, SAC-IT, CAMS-ll
Founder & CEO
Behavioral Health Professional
Geralyn is the founder and owner of Wisconsin Family Mental Balance LLC. Of Haitian descent, Geralyn has always recognized that a person's environment can significantly impact their success. However, she was determined not to let her surroundings define her path. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Chicago State University and went on to obtain her master’s degree from Walden University. Currently, Geralyn is a Ph.D. candidate in Psychology, actively working on her dissertation.

One of Geralyn's greatest passions is ensuring that individuals receive the assistance, support, and guidance they need to navigate their daily lives effectively. She understands the importance of meeting her clients where they are in their recovery journey. Geralyn specializes in various areas, including Financial Literacy, Anger Management, Psychoeducation, Behavioral Modification, Individual Skill Development, Peer Support, and Substance Abuse Treatment.
Mitch Turner MS, LPC, CSAC
Service Director
Mental Health Professional
Mitch joins W.F.M.B. as a service director and mental health professional. He earned his BA in Psychology and MS in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With over 20 years of experience, Mitch served as a probation and parole agent for the State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections. During his tenure, he also acted as a Motivational Interviewing Ambassador for three years, where he honed his skills in helping individuals identify their intrinsic motivations for change.

In 2019, Mitch became a Licensed Professional Counselor. Throughout his career, he has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including the homeless, those with chronic mental illnesses, individuals with intellectual disabilities, substance abuse addicts, and people experiencing suicidal thoughts. Mitch has extensive training and experience in domestic violence and working with perpetrators, reinforcing his belief that everyone deserves support. He is dedicated to guiding individuals on their journey toward healing and growth.

Viashaun Conley, MA, BA

Viashaun Conley joins Wisconsin Family Mental Balance as a Case Manager, bringing valuable educational experience with a Master's in School Leadership and a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. He is dedicated to bridging the gap between mental health and skills development.
Viashaun chose this career path after witnessing mental health struggles within his family. He understands the importance of providing compassion and quality service, which are essential components of a client’s recovery. What Viashaun enjoys most about his job is the opportunity to improve the lives of his clients and help them lead healthier lives.
MacKenzie Lee, BS

MacKenzie serves as a Service Facilitator at Wisconsin Family Mental Balance. Her unwavering passion for helping others led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Psychology at Aurora University. Post-graduation, she embarked on a journey from Aurora, Illinois to Madison, Wisconsin, demonstrating her commitment to making a positive impact in different communities.

His deep passion for assisting others motivated him to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, aiming to empower individuals to advocate for themselves. Following his graduation, he ventured abroad to Micronesia, where he taught at a local high school. During this experience, he forged meaningful connections and established lasting relationships with his students

Youth Coordinator
Jackie joins WFMB with an impressive 12 years of experience in the child care industry. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to supporting youth in developing their developmental and communication skills, fostering an environment where they can thrive and grow.
Jackie is passionate about connecting skill development strategies with providers to enhance the support available to youth on their recovery journeys. She believes that by equipping both the youth and their providers with the necessary tools and resources, they can work together more effectively toward achieving positive outcomes.

Chance serves as the Office Administrative Coordinator at W.F.M.B., showcasing exceptional communication and organizational skills. He is dedicated to ensuring that administrative components are in compliance. His ability to bridge the gap between providers, service facilitators and consumers has been outstanding.
